Description

These 2012 Sovereign coins have a special design to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. This was designed by British sculptor Paul Day following a competition, and is a stylised interpretation of the George & Dragon image used on most Sovereigns.

Gold Sovereigns are very attractive to UK investors; due to their status as British Legal Tender, they are Capital Gains Tax Free (CGT Exempt). The 2012 gold Sovereign is also a popular choice with collectors thanks to its unique design and the occasion it marks.
