The Quarter Sovereign is the smallest modern British legal tender gold coin. It contains 1.83 grams of gold and this 2010 version features the traditional George and the Dragon design on the obverse of the coin. These coins are brand new and remain sealed by the Royal Mint. Due to their status as British Legal tender they are exempt from capital gains tax (CGT), so they are a good choice for British investors.
