The 25th Anniversary One Pound Proof Coin Collection. This set includes 14 different £1 gold coins designs, including The Royal Shield, The Floral Series, The Heraldic Series, The Bridge Series and the definitive £1 Coin. 150 sets were produced upon release by the Royal Mint in 2008, and all these coins feature the date of 2008.

The £1 Coins are the same size as a regular circulated coin, but they are heavier in weight - each coin weighs 19.619 grams, and as a 22 carat gold coin, contain 17.98 grams of pure gold.

These coins are in Proof condition, so remain untouched by human hands. They are presented in a beautiful walnut display case and come complete with a full colour booklet and certificate of authenticity.
