This 50p Gold Proof Collection celebrates the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the 50p coin in 1969. This set contains 16 Fifty Pence pieces in 22 carat gold, with different designs on the obverse of the coin.
Only 125 of these sets were produced by the Royal Mint, so this set is clearly very rare. The coins are displayed in a beautiful wooden display case with a felt lining.
