This limited-edition gold box set contains two different sets of British circulated coins - the last issue of the Emblems of Britain and the first issue of the Royal Shield of Arms.

In 2008, the Royal Mint changed the design of the UK currency, from the Emblems of Britain which was used for 40 years, to the new style of the Royal Shield of Arms. You can see when the coins are arranged correctly, a shield appears on the coin set.

This 22 carat gold coin set is presented in a very attractive oak-veneer presentation case, along with some booklets to explain the history of the coins, and was limited to 150 sets.
