The gold Philharmonic coin is one of the most popular gold coins in Europe, and since 2002 was the first gold bullion coin to be denominated in Euro currency. These coins feature instruments used by the Vienna Philharmonic on the reverse and an image of the Vienna Concert Hall on the obverse.
