Proof Krugerrand from 1986 - there were only around 20,000 proof coins issued for this year.

Proof Krugerrands are struck with special blanks and dies to achieve a far higher level of detail on the coin.

Krugerrands are 22-carat gold, but weigh more than a troy ounce and therefore contain exactly 1 troy ounce of fine (24-carat) gold.
