The Two Pound Gold Coin - sometimes referred to as the Double Sovereign - contains 14.63 grams of gold. Due to their status as British Legal tender they are Capital Gains Tax Free (CGT Exempt), so they are a good choice for British investors.
This is one of the first Bi-Metalllic coins produced. The design features a group of concentric circles representing the development of technologies through the years. The coin has two distinctive parts; the outer rim and and inner plate. The outer rim has a small amount of silver added to achieve a different gold colour.
