This 1991 Gold Proof Quintuple Sovereign features the George and Dragon design, and the third (Maklouf) portrait for Queen Elizabeth II provided in a plastic capsule. Proof coins are struck twice to ensure far greater detail on the coin design. Due to their status as British Legal tender they are Capital Gains Tax (CGT) exempt, so they are a good choice for British investors.
