A 2002 one ounce gold Britannia coin from The Royal Mint. Britannia is featured standing alongside a lion on this design - similar to the Una and the Lion design on the 1839 £5 coin.
Gold Britannias are the most popular one ounce gold coin for larger UK based private investors, as they are Capital Gains Tax Free (CGT Exempt).
