A collectable hammered silver Twenty Pence struck in Scotland by John Falconer for King Charles the First between the years 1625 and 1649. The obverse features the crowned kings bust facing left with XX behind signifying the value of Twenty Pence. The reverse shows the crowned thistle the emblem representing Scotland. This coin in good fine condition has a few cross scratches to the obverse but does not deter from an interesting collectable coin from the turbulent times of the English civil war.
