A rare and superb grade silver milled Crown of King George the Second dated 1741. The obverse features the young Laureate head facing left with a young lions face on the shoulder. The reverse shows crowned cruciform shields with roses in the angles. The date and edge lettering surrounding translates to :- King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, Duke of Brunswick and Luneburg, Arch-Treasurer of the Holy Roman Empire and Elector. The edge of the coin is D QVARTO.
This Silver Crown of excellent grade with lots of "eye appeal" and with very light even toning, would be an investment coin for the future to addition any collection.

Reverse
