Description

A very collectable, high-grade, silver Crown of Queen Victoria. Dated 1894, and in "about uncirculated" condition. This silver Crown features Queen Victoria's old "Veiled" bust facing left on the obverse. The reverse has the famous image of St George slaying the Dragon, designed by Benedetto Pistrucci. The edge of this coin is inscribed with the regnal date of LVII (57).

Obverse

Reverse
St George on horseback slaying Dragon with hair streaming beneath his helmet with initials B.P. for the engraver Benedetto Pistrucci, and date in exergue 1893. Edge inscribed LVII.
