A very collectable, high-grade, milled silver Crown of King Edward VII, dated 1902 in "About Uncirculated" condition. The obverse features the bare head of King Edward the Seventh, facing right. The reverse shows the famous St George slaying the Dragon, designed by the Italian artist Benedetto Pistrucci.
Victoria's son, the Prince of Wales, was subject to many scandals and rumours. He also spent a great deal of time waiting to be King. His reign was one of the shortest this century, and was also known as the reign of elegance.
