A silver Crown coin of King George V, dated 1931. Just over 85 years ago during the reign of George V, the Royal Mint started to strike the first of a new series of Crowns known as 'Christmas Crowns' as they display the Christmas wreath on the reverse. Struck each year from 1927-1936, ten years in all, these silver Crowns have become very desirable.
