Description

A high grade and attractive blue/gold toned silver florin of Queen Victoria dated 1900 with the old veiled bust facing left.

The reverse features three shields containing England's three lions passant, Scotland's lion rampant, and Ireland's harp. with the shamrock, rose and thistle in the angles.

Above the shields is a large crown and behind them a pair of crossed sceptres, one with an eagle, the other a cross within a border formed by a garter inscribed with "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" (Evil to him who evil thinks).
