A collectable grade, hammered, silver Half Groat of King Henry VI. This coin features the mint mark "Plain Cross" denoting the date 1422-3. The coin was struck during the "Annulet issue" 1422-30. Easily identified by "Annulets" (small circles) appearing on both sides of the coin. The reverse has the long cross with pellets to the centre, and the wording indicates it was struck at the Calais mint in France. Even toned, with excellent bold face details.

Annulet issue 1422-30, crowned bust within treasure with fleurs at the cusps. Annulet on either side of the neck.

Long cross and pellets, with annulets in two quarters VIL LA CALI SIE, Calais mint.
