A collectable grade Hammered Silver groat of King Henry VIII with the mint mark "Martlet" showing it was struck at the Tower London mint, in the reign of King Edward VI, this is known as "Posthumous" coinage, that is they were struck in his image after King Henry's death during the reign of the next king Edward VI.The obverse features the facing crowned bust and the reverse shows cross over royal shield of arms.
