A collectable grade, and scarce hammered silver Groat (Fourpence) of King Henry VIII with the mint mark of 'Rose' showing it was struck at the London mint between 1487-1488. The obverse features the side portrait of King Henry the Eighth looking right commonly known as the 'Laker bust ' type. The reverse shows cross over Royal shield of arms representing England and France. This silver hammered Groat in good fine condition to the obverse with a strong portrait of the King, the reverse a little weaker, nether the less an excellent coin to addition any collection.

Second coinage. Side crowned portrait of Henry VIII looking right. Mint mark 'Rose' HENRIC.VIII.DR.GRA.REX.AGL.Z.FR.

Cross Fourchee over Royal shield of arms. Mint mark 'Rose' POSVIDEV.ADIVTONE.DEV.
