A rare, very collectable milled gold Guinea of King James II, dated 1685. The obverse features the first laureate head facing right. The reverse shows crowned cruciform shields of Royal arms, representing England and Scotland, Ireland and France. This coin is in around fine condition, with some surface scratches.
