A collectable grade, Silver Halfcrown of King William and Mary, dated 1689. This coin features the conjoined busts facing right of King William and Mary. The reverse has the crowned square shield of the four nations with each quarter representing, England, Scotland, France and Ireland. This popular series with collectors is the only British coin to have conjoined busts, making it a fine addition to any collection. William of Orange was invited to Britain to replace James II and rule jointly with Mary (the daughter of James II). Coin of good, even dark tone.
