A collectable silver Halfcrown of Queen Anne, dated 1707. This coin features the first bust facing left. The reverse has the crowned cruciform shield, with roses and plumes in each of the angles. The coin was minted just before the Union with Scotland in 1707, where the seat of Scottish government came to London. Queen Anne was the last Stuart Monarch to take the throne. Some minor, uneven, toning to the obverse, and a minor scratch by the rose. Otherwise a very nice example.

Draped first bust of Queen Anne facing right. ANNA.DEI.GRATIA. with raised edge lettering DECUS ET TVTAMEN ANNO REGNO SEXTO.

Crowned cruciform shields with date 1707, and roses and plumes in alternate angles BR.FRA.ET.HIB.REG.1707. MAG.
