A collectable silver Half Crown of Queen Anne, dated 1713. This coin features the second, "draped bust" facing left. The reverse has the crowned cruciform shield, with roses and plumes in each of the angles.

This coin was struck just after the Act of Union in 1707 which united the Crowns of England and Scotland. We can see on the reverse that the Three Lions of England, and the Lion Rampant of Scotland, are halved within a shield and repeated twice at the top and bottom of the design; before the Union, each set of arms occupied its own shield.

Obverse
Second draped bust of Anne facing left with edge inscribed "DVODECIMO". ANNE .DEI.GRATIA.

Reverse
Crowned cruciform shields with roses and plumes in angles. 1713 MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX.
