A very rare, collectable hammered Gold Half Noble of King Edward the Third struck between the years 1361 and 1369. The obverse features the King standing on ship at sea, holding sword in hand and shield of royal arms, Flag at the stern of the ship. The reverse shows ornate cross with crowns over lions in the angles, with a centre 'C' representing struck at the Calais mint. This coin in very fine grade and stunning 'eye' appeal would make an excellent addition to any series numismatic collection.
