A collectable hammered silver Halfpenny of King Richard the Second with facing bust. Struck at the famous Tower of London mint between 1377-99. King Richard the Second came to the throne as a ten year old boy but with advisers ruling on his behalf for the first 12 years of his reign.

This coin in good fine condition with darker toning on a full flan would make a good addition to any collection.

Facing bust, Crown wide splayed and straight-sided fleurs. Nothing on breast. RICARD REX ANGL.

Long cross with three pellets in the quarters. CIVI TAS LON DON
