A collectable grade, hammered, silver Halfpenny of King Richard II with facing bust. Struck at the famous Tower of London mint between 1377-99. King Richard the Second came to the throne as a ten year old boy, where his advisers ruled for the first 12 years of his reign.
Obverse
Facing bust, Crown wide splayed and straight-sided fleurs. Nothing on breast. RICARD REX ANGL.
Reverse
Long cross with three pellets in each quarter. CIVITAS LONDON.
