A collectable, high-grade silver Halfpenny of King Richard II with facing bust. Struck at the famous Tower of London mint, in 1377-99.

King Richard the Second came to the throne as a ten year old boy, where his advisers ruled for the first 12 years of his reign.

Condition: Very Fine.

Obverse: Facing bust of Richard II with mint mark "cross pattee" RICARD REX ANGL.

Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each angle CIVITAS LONDON with the lettering of intermediate style.
