A collectable grade, gold Quarter Laurel of King James I. Coming from the third coinage issue with the second bust facing left, and the distinctive "loose tie ends" to the hair. Cross through crowned shield, with no inner circle to the reverse. Slight creasing, otherwise a solid example in good grade.

Third coinage, second bust, with two loose tie ends. "V" behind head within inner circle. Mint mark "Lis". JACOBUS D G MAG BRIT FRAN ET HIB REX.
Reverse
Long cross fleur, through crowned square royal shield, with no inner circle HENRICUS ROSAS REGINA JACOBUS.
