A collectable grade, milled, silver Sixpence of King William and Mary, dated 1693. The obverse features the conjoined busts, facing right, of King William and Mary. The reverse shows crowned, cruciform, shields of the four nations; with each quarter representing, England, Scotland, France, and Ireland.

This popular series with collectors is the only milled British coin to have conjoined busts. William of Orange was invited to Britain to replace James II, and rule jointly with Mary (the daughter of James II).

The coin is of good, even light tone, with lots of "eye appeal".

Second conjoined busts of William and Mary, William's laureate bust over Mary's facing right. GVELIELMVS ET MARIA DEI GRATIA.

Crowned cruciform Royal shield of arms for England, Scotland, France, and Ireland. MAG BR FR ET HIB REX ET REGINA.
