A stunning silver Sixpence of Queen Anne, dated 1708, just after union with Scotland. Made by the London mint, the legend reads BRI.FR. Third "plain bust" looking left, and crowned cruciform shields, with plain angles to the reverse. A stunning coin with light, golden toning. It would be difficult to find a better sixpence.
