George II was born 30 October 1683 and was raised in Hanover, Germany.  Two Guineas were struck between 1733-53, but not for every year. Some of his coins bare E.I.C or Lima initials:this was gold or silver supplied by the the East Indian company or treasure that had been seized from the spanish.

These 2 guineas are rare coins and will delight any gold coin collector.
