This 1804 George III Bank of Ireland Silver Dollar features the Laurel Bust on the obverse and a Britannia Seat with harp on the reverse.

Just like the Bank of England 1804 Token, seized spanish silver was re-struck for the Irish market. However silver was at a premium and instead of receiving a value of 5 shillings, the Irish tokens were give a value of six. The coins were re-struck in Birmingham at the Soho Mint by Matthew Bouton and his steam press.
