A collectable hammered silver Penny of King Edward II, struck at the mint of Canterbury between the years 1307 and 1327.
The obverse features a facing bust, with the crown having a tall central fleur. The reverse shows the long cross with three pellets in each quarter, and the wording for the Canterbury mint. This coin is in very fine condition with good strong face details. The legend is a little weakly struck in areas, but would make an excellent addition to any collection.
