A very rare, hammered Silver Penny of King Henry IV, struck in 1412/1413. The obverse features the crowned face, with a clear "Annulet" on the neck. The reverse shows Cross with a "Quatrefoil" in the centre, and the wording to indicate being struck at the York mint. King Henry the Fourth was worn down with conflict and money troubles as this coin struck in the last year of his reign was reduced in weight to save Silver.
