A collectable grade, hammered silver Penny of King Henry VI. This coin features the mint mark "Plain Cross", denoting the minting date of 1422-3. This coin was struck during the "Annulet issue" of 1422-30. Easily identified by "Annulets" (small circles) appearing on both sides of the coin. The reverse has the long cross with pellets to the centre, and the wording indicates it was struck at the Calais mint in France. Dark, even toned with excellent bold details.
