A collectable grade, hammered, Silver Halfgroat of King Henry VI. The coin was struck during the "Annulet issue" 1422-1430. Easily identified by "Annulets" (small circles) appearing on both sides of the coin. The reverse has the long cross with pellets to the centre, and the wording indicates it was struck at the Calais Mint in France. Even-toned with excellent bold face details, and clear "Annulets" either side of the neck.
Obverse
Crowned facing bust. Annulets by neck. HENRICS DI GRA REX ANGLI.
Reverse
Long cross Patte'e dividing the legend, three pellets in each quarter, Annulets in two quarters. VILLAx CALISx.
