A collectable grade silver Shilling of King William III. This coin has the third draped bust facing right, and is dated 1697. The reverse has the crowned cruciform shields of England, Scotland, France and Ireland and the date of 1697. King William the third ruled on his own after his wife Mary died in 1694, this coin from the year 1697 saw peace, following the end of the war with France.
