A collectable grade silver Sixpence of King Edward VI. This coin has the crowned facing bust, with a rose to the left and "VI" in roman numerals (representing sixpence) to the right. This Sixpence features the "Tun" mint mark denoting the date 1551-3 and that the coin was struck at the infamous Tower mint of London. The reverse has the cross over Royal shield. King Edward the Sixth ascended the throne aged nine and became affectionately known as the "boy King". An even-grey tone, with historic creases, this coin still plenty of eye appeal.
Obverse

Reverse
Long cross fourchee over royal shield. "Tun" mint mark London. POSVI DEV ADIVITORE MEV.
