Description

A collectable grade silver Sixpence of Queen Elizabeth I. Fourth issue with mintmark "Eglantine" and dated 1575. Larger crowned bust facing left with rose behind and cross through square shield, with date to the reverse. Minor flan damage after mintmark. No real problems for grade.

Obverse
Fourth issue, larger crowned bust 5a, with rose behind within inner circle. mintmark "Eglantine" for year 1575. ELIZABETH D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA.

Reverse
Long cross fourchee through square shield of royal arms, with date above 1575, "Eglantine mintmark". POSUI DEU ADIUTOREM MEU.
