Description

A collectable hammered Silver Sixpence of Queen Elizabeth dated 1593. The obverse features the larger crowned bust facing left with a rose behind. The reverse shows the square topped Royal shield of arms with the cross Fourchee through. The mintmark of 'Tun' is featured on both the obverse and reverse. This coin in around good fine condition with even grey tone.

Obverse
6th issue. Crowned bust type 6C facing left with rose behind. ELIZAB D G FRA ET HIB REGINA mintmark "Tun".

Reverse
Square toped Royal shield of arms with the Cross Fourchee. POSVI DEV.'M ADVITOREM' MEV'. mintmark "Tun".
