A collectable grade hammered Silver Half Groat of King Henry VI. This coin features the mintmark "Plain Cross" showing the date 1422-3. The coin was struck during the "Annulet issue" of 1422-30 - easily identified by "Annulets" (small circles) appearing on both sides of the coin. The reverse has the long cross with pellets to the centre, and the wording indicates the coin was struck at the Calais Mint in France. Even-toned with excellent bold face details, a fine addition to any collection.
