A collectable silver Two Pence piece 9Half Groat) from King Henry VII. Struck at the York mint under Archbishop Christopher Bainbridge. The mint mark of a 'Martlet' shows this coin was struck between the years 1502 and 1504. The obverse features the 'profile' issue type crowned bust facing right. The reverse shows the quartered Royal arms over a cross with two very distinctive keys either side of the bottom of the shield. This coin in near very fine condition has a good all round appeal and would make a great addition to any numismatic collection.
