BullionByPost is proud to offer numismatic collectors a growing range of rare collectable coins, including this hammered Silver Half Groat of Henry VIII 1509-1547, in fine condition. This Silver Twopence features a Young Portrait of Henry VIII on the obverse and a Crossed Shield on the reverse.

What more can be said about this well known King that is not known by most people even today. The coinage however, is not so well known and these silver half groats (aka Twopence) do not appear on the market very often.

Condition is Fine and obviously quite rare. These coins come from his 2nd coinage showing his young bust.
