A collectable grade Silver Halfcrown of King William and Mary dated 1689. This coin features conjoined, right facing busts of King William and Queen Mary. The reverse has the crowned square shield of the four nations with each quarter representing, England, Scotland, France and Ireland. This popular series with collectors is the only British coin to have conjoined busts. William of Orange was invited to Britain to replace James II and rule jointly with Mary (the daughter of James II). The coin's appearance is of good even dark tone. This coin has been professionally authenticated by NGC, the world's largest and most trusted third-party grading service for coins tokens and medals it comes slabbed in a protective case.
