A collectable grade, milled, silver Halfcrown, dated 1826 of King George IV. This coin features the laureate head facing left. The reverse has a crowned shield in garter. King George the Fourth was notable for granting political rights to the Catholics, and just before this coin was struck in 1825, Trade Unions were legalised, and the very first railway is opened at Stockton and Darlington.
