The one ounce gold Kangaroo, also known as the 'Nugget' is the official national bullion coin of Australia with a face value of 100 Australian Dollars. It is struck in 99.99% pure gold and has a weight of 1 troy ounce, or 31.1 grams. The 2023 design features the iconic Australian scene of a red kangaroo standing in the dusty plains of the outback with a Eucalyptus tree in the background. The obverse side of the coin features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
