A collectable, and rare hammered Gold Half-crown of King James I, with the mint mark of "Coronet" clearly shown on both sides - indicating the coin was struck between the years 1606 and 1609 at the London Tower mint. The obverse features the first crowned bust facing right, and the reverse shows the crowned square-topped shield of Royal Arms with "I R" either side of the crown; an abbreviation for "James I Rex". This coin in very fine condition has the "dot" to the cheek which is normal for this bust type.

2nd coinage, 1st crowned bust facing right. Mint mark "Coronet". I D G ROSA SPINA.

Crowned square topped shield of Royal arms. I R either side of crown. Mint mark "Coronet". TUEATUR UNITA DEUS.
