2017 Royal Mint 1oz Year of the Rooster Proof Gold Coin Boxed

2017 brought the Year of the Rooster, and with it this fourth coin in a series of 12 Lunar coins released by the Royal Mint as part of the Shēngxiào collection.

Proof coins are struck multiple times to ensure far more detail is imparted to the coin.

Designed by British Chinese artist Wuon-Gean Ho and struck in 999.9 gold, this coin contains exactly one ounce of fine gold 24 carat. It has a face value of £100 and is provided boxed with certificate.
