George IV Bare Head 1825 - 1830
The second design of Sovereigns produced featuring George IV and minted between 1825 and 1830 was the 'Bare Head' version. The uncrowned version bore engraver marks for Pistrucci (BP), Merlen (JBM), and the Mint's Master, William Wellesley Pole (WWP).
