A scarce coin. This 1833 gold Sovereign features the bare head portrait of William IV by William Wyon on the obverse. The reverse has the Ensigns Armorial of the United Kingdom within a shield, with the Hanoverian Arms in the Centre, surmounted by a small crown, and a large crown at the top of the shield.
Text reads "GULIELMUS IIII D:G:BRITANNIAR:REX F:D" , "ANNO 1833".
